This program can provide meals at home for older adults who are unable to cook for themselves; have no one to cook for them or are unable to attend a senior meal center. This service is commonly referred to as “Meals on Wheels.”  

The program also provides meals, Monday through Friday, for individuals over the age of sixty (60) and their spouses and/or disabled dependents at centers throughout the KIPDA region. Meal centers also provide nutrition education, connections to other community services specifically for older adults, and a variety of fun activities. 

Eligibility Requirements:  

Age 60+, a spouse of any age, and/or disabled dependents of any age. Home meal clients must meet additional eligibility requirements – call the ADRC to learn more 502. 266.5571.

Are you ready to make a big difference in the life of a senior? Meals On Wheels needs volunteers to deliver meals to homebound seniors.
