    2014 KIPDA Annual Report -KIPDA released its annual report showcasing the successes and projects of 2014, including the Milton-Madison Bridge, Community Development Block Grants and Others!  The 2015 KIPDA Annual Report will be coming in November!

    Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy for FY2013-FY2018

    2015 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Annual Update (CEDS) report is now available. The CEDS document provides an in-depth examination of the region's current economic climate as well as a forecast of future growth.     The Division of Social Services addresses issues as varied as the Consumer Directed Options program for disabled persons of all ages, to the Home Care program for frail elders in need of assistance in order to remain in their homes.

    KIPDA also provides Health Promotion programs which provide education on healthy choices and lifestyles.  Services are available to elders in the seven county area which includes Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, and Trimble.

    FY 2016 Area Plan Executive Summary

    Each May, we celebrate Older Americans Month to recognize older Americans for their contributions to the nation. This year, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Older Americans Act (OAA), focus is on how older adults are taking charge of their health, getting engaged in their communities, and making a positive impact in the lives of others. The theme for Older Americans Month 2015 is Get into the Act.

    KIPDA Needs Assessment
    The Kentuckiana Regional Planning and Development Agency (KIPDA)
    , Division of Social Services is conducting a needs assessment for Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, and Trimble counties. This needs assessment  will help KIPDA determine the needs of older adults, caregivers and persons with disabilities. The information learned will help KIPDA plan their social services for the next 5-6 years. The needs assessment study has been approved by the University of Louisville IRB.
