What is Grounds for Growth?
Grounds for Growth is KIPDA’s program that performs environmental site assessments of abandoned or underutilized properties and involves the community in site reuse and other planning. It is funded by a $1.5 million Brownfields Assessment Coalition Grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, a program aimed at identifying, assessing, and facilitating the redevelopment of properties that may be impacted by environmental contamination.
