This summer, Anagha Gore and Ciana Sorrentino, have been handling special projects for CED team’s 2021 KIPDA Hazard Mitigation Plan.

Anagha and Ciana are both graduate students at the O’Neill School of Public & Environmental Affairs. Anagha is leading the flood policy project to help determine policy and project recommendations to help mitigate flooding in the region. Ciana is managing an energy resilience project, which will analyze the energy preparedness of our region’s critical infrastructure. Their projects span both KIPDA’s Kentucky and Indiana counties. KIPDA partnered with Indiana University Sustainability Development Program to host Anagha and Ciana for 10 weeks.
