Transportation Division

Outreach, Participation & Information

One of the basics of planning is collecting viewpoints and opinions from members of the public to help inform policy makers.  A requirement of the Louisville (KY-IN) Metropolitan Planning Organization is to have a process in place to collect this information.  This process is defined by the Louisville (KY-IN) Metropolitan Planning Organization Participation Plan (PDF, 1.1 MB), adopted by the Transportation Policy Committee in April 2007.

You may submit comments to KIPDA at any time; there is no requirement that it take place during a formal public review period.  If you have any opinions on transportation you would like to share with members of the Transportation Policy Committee, please click here to send an email, or write us a letter at 11520 Commonwealth Drive, Louisville, Kentucky, 40299, or send us a fax at 502-266-5047.  We appreciate you letting us know what matters to you.

KIPDA recently participated in a radio program called "Louisville Business Spotlight" on 93.9 WAY-FM and Shine 105.9 FM. A copy of the program is available by clicking on the link below. You will hear more about the Metropolitan Transportation Plan and the planning process.
