• Adult Day Care Facilities within the KIDPA region

Adult day care centers are community-based programs for adults who need supervision throughout the day.  Centers provide structured activities to meet the physical, mental, social and/or emotional needs of the participant.  These centers provide assistance with activities of daily living.  Adult day services provide an alternative to care in the home and/or placement in a personal care or nursing facility.  It is a service which allows relief for the caregiver(s) and provides a positive, creative environment for the client.  Eligibility is based on assessment results with a sliding scale fee.  Attendance is structure to meet the participant’s needs.
